Di Ammonium Phosphate (DAP) is most commonly utilized as fertilizer in order to improve and increase farm yield. It is a water soluble form of ammonium phosphate salts having chemical formula (NH4)2HPO4 and molar mass of 132.06 g/mol. This compound can also be utilized as a fire retardant as it lowers combustion temperature and reduces weight loss rates of material. It is known to be the most common and largest ingredient in commercial firefighting products. In making, Di Ammonium Phosphate (DAP) is used as yeast nutrient to enhance quality.
