Calcium Chloride is widely utilized in medicine for treating internal hydrofluoric burns and magnesium intoxications. With E number of E509, it is also used as a food additive and in organic crop production as well. This compound has chemical formula CaCl2 with molecular mass of 110.98 g/mol.
